Who this class is for
Small-group lessons suit learners who want structure, a regular weekly rhythm, and other people to practise with. You do not need any previous Korean.
- Complete beginners starting with Hangul
- Learners who know some words but freeze when speaking
- People who learn well with a fixed weekly routine
- Learners preparing for travel, study, or everyday conversation
What you'll work on
The group follows the same six building blocks. Where the group starts and how quickly it moves depends on the learners in that group — not on a fixed promise of what you will master by a certain date.
-
1
Hangul and pronunciation
Reading the alphabet, syllable blocks, and the sounds that need the most attention.
-
2
Vocabulary and useful expressions
High-frequency words and phrases tied to situations you will actually meet.
-
3
Grammar and sentence building
Patterns explained in plain language, then used immediately in your own sentences.
-
4
Speaking, listening and role-play
Paired practice and short conversations, with correction as you go.
-
5
Revision and feedback
Short homework between classes and a review at the start of the next one.
How the two hours are usually used
A predictable structure, so you always know what you are practising. The exact balance changes with the topic and the group.
- 01
Review and warm-up
We start with last class's language, out loud, before adding anything new.
- 02
New language, explained
One clear point at a time — a phrase, a sound, or a pattern — with examples first.
- 03
Guided practice
Pair work, role-play, and listening tasks with the tutor correcting in real time.
- 04
Wrap-up and homework
A short summary of what to revise, plus a task you can finish before the next class.

Common questions about this class
What if I am a complete beginner?
That is expected. Group classes start with Hangul, pronunciation, and the first useful expressions. If you already know some Korean, tell us on the form so the group can be matched to your level.
What if only one student has enrolled by the start date?
Classes can run with two or three students, and we do not require all three places to be filled. If only one student has enrolled by the planned start date, we will contact you before the course begins to discuss the available options. Your class schedule and start date are confirmed with you before payment.
Can I switch to private lessons later?
You can ask. Any switch is agreed in writing, and the price difference is confirmed before it takes effect.
What if I miss a class?
Student absences are not eligible for make-up classes. Recordings are not part of this course either, so the class that runs is the class you get. If something serious comes up, tell us in writing and we will talk it through honestly.
Will classes be recorded?
Recording has not been confirmed as part of this course, so it is not promised here. If that changes, students will be told what is recorded and why before a class is recorded.
