How to use these

Reading is the start, not the finish

A guide can explain a pattern. Only speaking it makes it yours. Use each lesson like this:

  1. 1

    Read it once, out loud

Not silently. The point is to hear your own voice making the sounds.

  2. 2

Write three of your own examples

Swap the noun, swap the place. Make the pattern about your life.

  3. 3

    Bring your questions to class

Where it stopped making sense is exactly what a lesson should fix.

Learn it with feedback

Free guides cannot hear you. A class can — with a tutor who corrects the sounds and sentences as you produce them.
