Private 1:1 Korean
One learner, one tutor. The pace, the examples, and the speaking practice are planned around your level and your reason for learning — whether that is travel, study in Korea, TOPIK preparation, or simply holding a conversation.

Who this class is for
Private lessons suit learners who want the course shaped around a specific outcome, a specific schedule, or a specific weak spot. Complete beginners are welcome.
- A clear goal: travel, study, TOPIK, or conversation
- An uneven schedule that needs a fixed, agreed timetable
- A learner who wants constant correction while speaking
- Someone returning to Korean after a long break
How a private course is planned
There is no fixed syllabus promise here, because the plan depends on you. What is fixed is the method: understand where you are, choose the next useful step, and practise it until you can use it.
- 1
Level and goal conversation
We establish what you can already do, what you want to do, and how much time you can practise between classes.
- 2
A plan for the next few weeks
You are told which building blocks come next and why, with realistic expectations rather than a promised fluency date.
- 3
Classes built around your material
Examples and role-plays use your situation — your trip, your course, your exam, your colleagues.
- 4
Review and adjust
At the end of each week, the next classes are adjusted to what you found difficult.
What a two-hour class looks like
A predictable structure, adapted to the plan you agreed. The balance changes with your goal.
- 01
Review and warm-up
Last class's language, spoken, before anything new is added.
- 02
New language, explained
One clear point at a time, with examples drawn from your own context.
- 03
Speak and be corrected
Continuous one-to-one practice, with correction as you go rather than only at the end.
- 04
Wrap-up and homework
A short summary, a task you can finish before the next class, and what to revise.

Common questions about this class
Can I start as a complete beginner?
Yes. Private lessons can start with the alphabet and the first sounds, or pick up wherever your existing Korean stops.
Can I prepare for TOPIK?
TOPIK preparation can be part of a private course if that is your goal, using the exam format alongside the language itself. Tell us your target level on the form so the plan can be realistic. No score or pass result is promised.
What if my schedule changes or I miss a class?
Class days are fixed once the course is agreed, and student absences are not eligible for make-up classes. If something changes before the course starts, tell us in writing as early as you can — we will confirm what is possible rather than promise something the policy does not cover.
Can I move to a group class?
You can ask. Any switch is agreed in writing, subject to a group place being available, and the price difference is confirmed first.
